1) A brief song (Bring sheet music in your key; accompanist provided)

2) Prepare a brief monologue

Casting:
One woman between the ages 25-39 to play either Catherine Givings or Sabrina Daldry (one actress has been pre-cast in one of those roles and will be assigned after auditions).
*All other roles are pre-cast.

At this general auditions, we will also be looking at performers for out Theatre IV touring productions, as well as additional titles to be determined.

Auditions are open and will be held at the November Theatre (formerly the Empire Theatre) at 114 W Broad St. on Sunday, February 19th from 5:00 – 10:00 PM. Auditions are by appointment only and may be made by calling 804-783-1688 Opt. 3 or emailing k.monfet@theatreivrichmond.org.
Those auditioning are asked to prepare 1 short song (not to exceed 90 seconds in length.). Please bring sheet music in your key (accompanist provided). Also, please be prepared to dance and possibly read from the script.

Barksdale posts audition notices in the Arts and Leisure section of the Sunday Richmond Times Dispatch one week before auditions take place. Listings generally include the ages needed and whether you will be asked to dance or sing in addition to reading from the script.
