A group of Richmond’s finest Sondheim performers pay tribute to the premiere composer of his generation. In this cabaret celebration, this group of stars share their experiences with Sondheim’s material and sing some of his best known songs (and some that are not well-known at all) from such shows as Into the Woods, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Follies, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company and more!

Stephen Sondheim is widely acknowledged as the most innovative, most influential and most important composer and lyricist in modern Broadway history. His prodigious output is equally matched by its excellence. Sondheim has written the music and lyrics for memorable musicals that include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Follies, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Sunday in the Park with George, Into the Woods and Bounce, as well as providing lyrics for West Side Story, Gypsy, Do I Hear A Waltz? and Candide.
